Sorry, this has to be done. Believe it or not, I had this idea since 2 years ago, but it wasn't until now that I've gained enough courage to draw this.
Lately, I've been seeing really *ahem* Klonoa and Tails fanart everywhere. Not just in deviantART alone, but also the whole freaking internet.
So I wondered, what if they have internet connections, too? Basically, this picture summarizes my opinions regarding the Klonoa and Tails fandom. They'd turn on their computers and open their browsers, only be traumatized to find all of these countless shit which their fans have drawn for them. (In fact, they're probably so hugely traumatized from these fanarts by now that they refused to look at the internet again.) The most disturbing ones which they have to endure are those yaoi coupling images of both of them together, and note to mention the disturbing fanfictions, too.
Tails is currently holding the title as the most popular and well-loved Sonic character all around, after Shadow. (Edit: I used to say "Amy Rose", but a friend of mine pointed out that Shadow is far more popular.) Part of his huge popularity is because he's more cute and cuddly than Sonic. However in fact, it's also because he's a fox! Don't get what I'm saying? Foxes are the blondes of the furry world, and so many furry fans have a soft spot for him because of that. (It is amazing for me to have found out that most furries have a fox fetish, which explains why there are so many fox furries all around.)
And Klonoa... well... I don't know the exact reason why, but I can theorize that it may also be because of his huge pair of ears. You know, soft and fluffy and such, and he can stay in the air a little longer by flapping them. I always wondered what the hell were in Klonoa's designers' heads when they designed him in the first place...
And in addition, both Klonoa and Tails are young and underaged. Damn paedophiles. I mean, I've even seen fanarts of them in sexual situations. It's just very sad to me, because these game characters were made for kids! (Okay, so maybe kids AND teenagers alike... Then again, teenagers-oriented games are also rather toned-down, too, though not quite as kids-oriented games.)
Oh well... I can tell that some of you probably felt a little guilty by now. But don't worry... It's not really that bad to like them. I'm just hitting those who liked them in a rather "wrong" manner. And yes, this also applies to all game and cartoon characters in general. I decided to choose Klonoa and Tails because they're currently the most recognizable in the scene.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
