This picture was really began as an OC session me and (AlphaCat) had. I've pictured a furry cat boy playing a flute, standing at very high altitudes amongst the mountains, so I started drawing it out. (Originally, it was gonna be a human boy, but AlphaCat and I agreed that it'll probably be better if I draw him as a furry instead.) But, halfway done sketching out the picture, our OC session got interrupted, so we had to stop. So I decided to redraw the character again in Flash, and this is the result.
I have never really been a good background artist. For the background, I took heavy references from other artists on how the mountains should be properly drawn, and the drawing tricks for the sea, for example. The hardest and trickiest part is drawing all the clouds up above. I do admit that they look better when they look blurry. However, since I'm dealing with vectors, it's out of the question... Instead, I sorta just draw out the clouds and, hopefully, it still comes out nice.
Thanks. Actually, this is a coincidence. The fur pattern was meant to be based from the "generic" way of drawing a furry feline's face, often somehow sorta resembling Klonoa's this way.
Naw, I never thought of that dinner thing when I draw this picture.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.

We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
