Mood: Heh.

During my experience chatting with people via an instant messaging service, I have met quite a lot of... uhh... "interesting" people , from those who are very friendly with me, to those who are the kind of people I hate, to those whose English still needs some more improving but which I don't mind and I try my best to make myself understandable to them. And now, after having met many of these kinds of people, I decided to write out this journal entry.

So you want to contact me via an IM service? Sure, go ahead! I don't mind chatting with some people for a while. But, there are some things which you'll need to consider when you want to have a go at chatting with me.

First, you must have at least a decent ability to speak in English in real time. If you can't speak English perfectly, that's okay for me, but you'll also need to be able to converse in English at real time. You can't spend more than half the time it takes to type a reply reading a dictionary a lot or use an online translation service just to talk to me. If that's the case, then e-mailing me is the best option. If you happen to be able to speak Malay (Indonesian does not count!), then I'll appreciate it if you go ahead and talk to me in Malay. (Unless, of course, if your Malay sucks, in which case you can go on talking to me in English.) I hardly met a lot of Malaysians who speaks to me in Malay other than those who I met them in real life, so this is a chance for me to put full use of my own native tongue. (Also, it seemed that so many Malaysians in deviantART speak to each other in English, which makes me feeling sad. )

Next, be aware that I'm sensitive on a few topics, and I will start tauntrum if you decided to talk to me about it. I had enough of the PC vs. Macintosh fights already. I don't care how much you hate Microsoft, how evil that software giant is, how suck Windows is, or how you believe that Macintosh or Linux are the way computers should be, just shut up and keep all those things to yourself! Also, I don't tolerate people laughing and making fun at me during my really hard times (like extremely lot of works to do, accidently deleting an important file, etc.).

I know that some of you out there enjoy RPing in IM, and I admit that I do that sometimes. But I don't like it if I was forced to RP against my will. If I say that I'm not in the mood to RP on that time, then that's it... deal with it.

If you happen to be an anime addict, and the language you're speaking is bastarized English with a lot of Japanese words in it, then sorry to offend you, but I'm afraid that you will need to speak to me in pure English. Yes, I'm currently learning Japanese (pure, proper Japanese, that is), and I hate it whenever people like you use Japanese words wrongly. Also, speaking to me in English mixed-up with Japanese may also make me confused the hell what you're talking about.

If you're a pervert, then please... Keep those adult talks to yourself. I am open-minded, though, and I don't mind discussing about it, if only for the sake of discussion, not for the sake of getting me interested with it, since I will not.

If you're a fetishist of whatever kind, please, try not to get me involved as an RP victim of your fetish. (Many months ago, someone with an expanding cute creature fetish decided to RP me growing bigger and bigger against my will until I draw that goddamn picture that he requested, which is drawing Marwan all big and looking over the city. ) But if on the other hand you're a tail fetishist, then that's different... I happen to be a tail fetishist myself, so if you're a tail fetishist, too, then I'll be glad to discuss with you about it. But please don't RP me involving my tail (or your tail, for that matter) too much.

That's it. Oh, and finally, I'm online mostly in AIM, Y!M and MSN Messenger. (I even use custom MSN Messenger emoticons which I've created myself to match with my personality. ) I rarely use ICQ nowadays, so if you want to IM me and ICQ is the only IM services you use, then you'll have to inform me about it. I can normally be found online on maybe around between 10 PM to 2 AM Malaysian time (that's 9 AM to 1 PM American time) or sometimes 10 AM to 1 PM Malaysian time (9 PM to 12 AM American time). It depends, and sometimes, I'm not online at all, either because I don't feel like IMing on that time, or because of an unavoidable matter.
